About the Role: 
Join CTR America as an Accounting Associate in our vibrant Irvine, CA office! The Accounting Associate will support daily accounting operations for our aftermarket and OEM business. This role includes processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with monthly closing activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, inventory-driven environment. The position also provides occasional support for general affairs, administrative tasks, and/or basic HR coordination (e.g., onboarding logistics, records maintenance), helping the organization run smoothly.  This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your accounting skills while contributing to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence and innovation. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment processing.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transactions.
  • Utilize ERP software for data entry and report generation.
  • Support for tax-related filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Assist with general affairs and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Support basic HR administrative activities.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of accounting experience, wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Basic and Intermediate Excel skills (sorting, filtering, vlookup, pivot tables)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and accounting principles.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
 
Preferred Skills: 
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Experience working in an inventory-based or wholesale business environment.
  • Familiarity with sales tax filings or multi-state transactions. 
 
Physical Requirements: 
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
  • Light filing and document handling.
