Accounting Clerk Job Description:

PrideStaff Financial is working with a local business who is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join their team. The Accounting Clerk will process vendor invoices, handle Accounts Receivables, prepare financial reports and report to the Accounting Supervisor.  The ideal Accounting Clerk has multiple years of Accounting experience, understands Accounting principles, and holds an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. The Accounting Clerk position is a full time, temp to hire position in Yuba City, CA.


Accounting Clerk Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process Vendor Invoices, Prepare & Mail Checks & Handle Accounts Receivable Entries
  • Reconcile Bank Statements by Comparing Them to The General Ledger & Other Financial Records
  • Assist in Preparing Financial Reports, Such as Monthly Statements, & Verify Their Accuracy
  • Receive & Record Cash, Handle Purchase Orders, & Respond to Payroll Questions
