Position Summary:

Your Impact (Essential Duties):

  • Perform detailed financial analyses and support the development of business valuation and advisory reports for a wide range of clients
  • Actively engage with clients/team members to explain financial findings, offer data-driven insights, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Take ownership of smaller consulting engagements, managing project timelines, deliverables, and communication with stakeholders
  • Contribute strategic insights based on financial and operational data to help improve client growth, profitability, and efficiency
  • Prepare advanced business reports and presentation materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver holistic advisory solutions and maintain strong client relationships
  • Mentor junior team members by reviewing work, providing feedback, and sharing knowledge
  • Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership
  • Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual and team performance and overall firm productivity

Your Background:

  • Required - 3-5 years of experience in business valuation or related work
  • Required - CPA, CVA, ABV, CBA license or eligible
  • Required - Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Understanding of complex accounting principles, including debits/credits, journal entries, and financial statements
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and business metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in client-facing roles within a valuation or advisory setting
