Job description

We are looking for adetail-driven Accounting Assistantto support our construction and accounting teams. This role is heavily focused oninvoice processing, data entry, and accounts payable support, while also requiring the ability tocommunicate with subcontractors and vendors to resolve discrepancies.

This is a fast-paced environment whereaccuracy, organization, and accountability are critical.The right candidate must be comfortable handling large volumes of invoices, maintaining accurate records, and following up when information does not match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and process ahigh volume of vendor and subcontractor invoicesaccurately and efficiently
  • Review invoices foraccuracy, proper documentation, and approval requirements
  • Identify andinvestigate discrepanciesbetween invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation
  • Communicate withsubcontractors, vendors, and internal departmentsto resolve billing issues
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Track outstanding invoices and follow up as needed
  • Assist withaccounts payable processes and reporting
  • Perform general accounting and administrative support tasks as required
