As a Senior Accountant, you play a key role in maintaining the Bank’s financial integrity, producing accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting management with the information needed to make informed decisions.

This is more than a transactional accounting role. It’s a handson, analytical position for accounting professionals who value precision, accountability, and collaboration, and who want to contribute meaningfully to a missiondriven community bank.

If you enjoy working with complex financial data, improving processes, and partnering across teams to ensure accuracy and compliance, this role offers impactful work and continued professional growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform daily and monthly accounting close activities and prepare financial and management reports
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving reconciling items in a timely manner
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable and payable activity; provide backup support for accounts payable as needed
  • Process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policy
  • Safeguard the Bank’s funds through effective use of Positive Pay controls and monitoring
  • Prepare Call Report schedules and support regulatory reporting requirements
  • Partner with other departments to ensure accurate reporting of financial activity
  • Support the Controller and CFO with analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed
  • Perform all duties in compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, and Bank policies

  • Three (3) or more years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior bank accounting or financial institution experience, preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently while managing deadlines and priorities
  • Professional communication skills and respect for confidentiality
