Job description

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team based in Diamond Bar, California. This hybrid role is responsible for overseeing key accounting functions including general ledger management, financial reporting, compliance, tax, audit, process improvement, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger
  • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close process
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with external audits and tax preparation by providing required documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
  • Streamline financial reporting to support evolving business needs
  • Perform detailed financial analyses to support business decisions
  • Develop recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 4-6+ years of relevant experience
  • Public accounting experience required
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
  • Proficient in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation will be determined by the hiring authority and may vary depending on qualifications and other factors relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
