Job Title: Store Manager

Location: Tampa
Reports To: Store Manager


Job Summary:

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including but not limited to sales performance, customer service, staff management, inventory management, and financial accountability. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

Retail Store Manager Duties:

  • Sales Performance: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Monitor sales metrics and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets. 
  • Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service standards. Train and motivate staff to provide personalized assistance, resolve customer complaints effectively, and foster long-term customer relationships. 
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure staff members reach their full potential. Create a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement. 
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment to meet customer demand. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize product availability. 
  • Financial Accountability: Manage the store budget and expenses effectively to maximize profitability. Analyze financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales growth. 
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including merchandise displays and signage. Implement safety protocols to ensure a secure and hazard-free workplace. 
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with the local community to drive brand awareness and customer loyalty. Participate in community events and initiatives to enhance the store's reputation and visibility. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar sales volume environment. 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving operational excellence. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. 


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity for sewing and using sewing tools/equipment.
