Meet Our Regional Sales Coordinator, Joshua Burton:

Joshua Burton has been with Aflac for 20 years. Prior to joining Aflac, he served in the United States Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Collections, where he developed a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, and analytical thinking that has carried into his professional career. Outside of business, Joshua is deeply family-focused. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their two grown sons and grandson, making family time a top priority. Now that they are empty nesters, they also enjoy traveling together and exploring new places whenever they can.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships.

  • Generate new opportunities through referrals, networking, and prospecting.

  • Conduct virtual and on-site presentations with employers to position the value of Aflac.

  • Educate employees on available benefits packages and support enrollment needs.

  • Provide ongoing enrollment, claims, and service support.

  • Attend team meetings and trainings.

  • Life/Health insurance license (or the willingness to quickly obtain) is required.

  • Proven industry experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and results driven.

  • Must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check.
