Accounts Payable Clerk

12-Week Contract

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a 12-week contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Friday: Work from home

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and documentation
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with check runs and electronic payments
  • Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Maintain accurate records and accounts payable files
  • Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
  • Enter financial data into the accounting system with a high degree of accuracy


  • Previous accounts payable, accounting support, or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
