This role helps ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial information while leading and developing accounting staff.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Controller in overseeing accounting operations and financial reportingManage monthly close in FloQast and preparation of financial statements including TB flux analysisOversee general ledger activity and coordinate with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payrollEnsure transactions and account reconciliations are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with GAAPSupport audits and compliance with applicable regulatory and tax requirementsProvide clear financial information and respond to requests from business leadersSupervise, coach, and develop assigned accounting team membersPerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldAt least two years of experience at the Senior Accountant level or aboveFive or more years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of required background checksPreferred QualificationsAviation or aerospace industry experienceCPA or equivalent certificationSkills and AbilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to collaborate effectively across functions and with senior leadersSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises assigned accounting team membersWork EnvironmentMonday through Friday in the Raleigh office; this is not a remote or hybrid positionTypical office environmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Dress CodeProfessional appearance and adherence to the department dress codeTravelLimited travel may be requiredEEO StatementflyExclusive does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sex stereotyping, gender identity, gender expression or transgender status), national origin, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, age, protected genetic information, status as a parent, marital status, political affiliation, or retaliation based on prior protected EEO activity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
