This role works closely with our Account Directors, ensuring that all operational aspects of key accounts run smoothly—from client meetings and quoting to internal coordination with engineering, production, and logistics. While the Account Director focuses on growing the business and developing new opportunities, this role ensures that everything behind the scenes is executed seamlessly.

This position acts as a central hub between customers and internal teams and is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple moving pieces, communicating with clients, and driving projects forward.

What You’ll Do:

Client Engagement & Communication

  • Attend customer meetings alongside the Account Director and capture key requirements, notes, and next steps
  • Serve as a primary operational point of contact for customers on active projects
  • Communicate with clients regarding product details, timelines, shipping updates, and project progress
  • Maintain proactive communication to ensure projects stay on track and expectations are clear

Project Coordination

  • Translate customer discussions into clear internal action items
  • Work closely with engineering, product development, operations, and logistics teams to move projects forward
  • Track multiple project timelines and ensure deliverables are progressing as expected

Quoting & Opportunity Management

  • Prepare quotes for new opportunities and revisions as projects evolve
  • Create and manage internal part numbers and product configurations
  • Follow up on open opportunities and support the progression of deals

Operations & Logistics Coordination

  • Communicate production timelines and shipping schedules to customers
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects move smoothly from concept through production and delivery
  • Help identify and resolve operational challenges before they impact customers

Internal Systems & Organization

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across internal systems
  • Ensure project details, pricing, timelines, and communication are properly documented
  • Help keep internal teams aligned and informed across multiple active projects

What a Typical Day Might Look Like

  • Joining a customer call with an Account Director to discuss a new product opportunity
  • Capturing key requirements and coordinating next steps with engineering
  • Preparing a quote and setting up part numbers for a new project
  • Checking in with operations on production timelines for an active order
  • Following up with a customer about an open opportunity or shipment update
  • Updating internal systems so teams have the latest information

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7+ years of experience in account operations, project coordination, client success, or account management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting directly with customers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and sales teams
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Experience in B2B hardware, retail technology, manufacturing, or enterprise solutions is a strong plus

This Role is Ideal For Someone Who

  • Enjoys being the operational backbone of large customer accounts
  • Likes coordinating between customers, engineering, and operations
  • Thrives in an environment where multiple projects are moving at once
  • Takes ownership of details and ensures nothing falls through the cracks
