Trade Operations Associate – NYC/Hybrid


Our client, an international Financial Services firm, is seeking a Trade Operations Associate for their NYC office. This dynamic role supports trade processing for domestic and international markets and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the firm’s success.


Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely trade allocations and bookings of client accounts through CTM / FIX Allocation or manual processes for both domestic and international trades
- Process timely and accurate client trade confirmations ensuring proper delivery and settlement
- Manage the life cycle of trades from booking and matching to settlement, utilizing clearing network
- Maintain client static data, including settlement instructions and commission schedules
- Perform daily reconciliation of all recorded trades
- Ensure regulatory compliance by accurately recording fixed income trades (TRACE)
- Open new client accounts, including sub-accounts and managed funds
- Assist in onboarding new client accounts
- Create JIRA tickets for issue tracking and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing through final delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or related major
3-5+ years of related Operations, Middle Office, Settlements or Trade Support experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and proven ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently

*Series 7or SIE and Series 99 licenses preferred or must obtain within 3 months of employment*


Salary $92k-112k + discretionary bonus + excellent benefits
