The position combines outside sales, customer service, and community outreach, with regular travel within a driving radius of up to approximately 90 minutes and uncapped commission potential.
Responsibilities
  • Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a 90-minute driving distance to promote the delivery partner program.
  • Present and pitch the delivery partner program clearly and persuasively to prospective businesses to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
  • Qualify prospective business partners, assess their suitability for the program, and guide them step by step through the application process.
  • Lead and track all prospect and applicant activity in Salesforce, ensuring an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and new partners, answering questions, resolving issues, and helping them navigate the onboarding process.
  • Travel within the assigned territory, with the ability to drive up to approximately four hours round trip daily as needed to cover target areas.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and follow-through in all interactions to convert interested businesses into active delivery partners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with local community organizations, chambers of commerce, or economic development associations is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field and from home.
  • Interest in last-mile delivery, logistics, or small business growth is a plus.

Work Environment

You will work in the field approximately three to four days per week, visiting businesses and attending community events within your assigned territory. When not in the field, you will work from home to manage follow-ups, update Salesforce, and prepare for upcoming visits and events. The role requires regular driving, with travel up to roughly 90 minutes each way and up to four hours round trip on some days. The work involves frequent in-person interactions with local business owners, community organizations, and internal team members.
