Role: Performance Tester/Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC (2-3 days onsite a week)

• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools: LoadRunner, JMeter, BlazeMeter
• Proficiency in monitoring tools: Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms: AWS and Azure
• Technical expertise in Java and .NET applications

In-Scope Activities:
• Requirements Gathering & Validation:
o Collaborate with business teams to gather and validate Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
o Identify business-critical scenarios and validate them against production usage or defined performance criteria.
• Performance Test Planning & Execution:
o Develop comprehensive performance test plans including monitoring strategies.
o Monitor application server metrics using APM tools like Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, and Splunk.
• Benchmarking & Analysis:
o Compare current application performance against production SLAs and previous releases.
o Conduct baseline tests for migration projects and validate against benchmark criteria before production rollout.
• Performance Engineering:
o Perform early performance testing and monitoring.
o Conduct root-cause analysis for performance defects and provide tuning recommendations.
o Support performance lifecycle testing (PLT) requests as per agreed count.
