Weโ€™re currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a skilled nursing facility in Stockton, CA. Centrally located in California's Central Valley with easy access to the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the mountains โ€” Stockton is a convenient and accessible home base for a travel contract.

Details of the role:
  • Anticipated start date: Flexible
  • Salary range: Up to $2,340 weekly
  • Anticipated duration of contract: 13 weeks
  • Contract type: Travel, Permanent, or Travel-to-Perm
Clinical Duties:
  • Assess residents and create personalized OT care plans.
  • Provide skilled therapy to improve ADLs and mobility.
  • Treat orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute conditions.
  • Teach adaptive strategies and safe use of assistive devices.
  • Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams for coordinated care.
  • Communicate goals and discharge plans with residents and families.
  • Maintain accurate evaluations, notes, and progress documentation.
  • Monitor outcomes and adjust interventions for optimal results.
  • Follow facility policies and state regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.
  • Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment.
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
  • Proficient documentation and time management skills.
