Position: Food and Beverage Manager

Reports to: F&B Director


About Windstar on Naples Bay 

Windstar on Naples Bay, located less than three miles from 5th Avenue in the heart of Naples, is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager who will oversee daily F&B operations with passion, creativity, and a commitment to excellence within a cohesive, kind, and collaborative team culture. Recently remodeled, the Club features modern facilities with two floors of dining venues and event spaces, and two full kitchens. The F&B Manager will be a visible, hands-on leader who inspires the team, and delivers exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. Ideal candidates will bring proven experience in high-volume, seasonal, and multi-outlet private clubs, demonstrating the ability to balance à la carte service, the beverage program, and private event execution while fostering teamwork, consistency, and a positive team environment aligned with the Club’s values and vision.


Club amenities include a Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole golf course with bayside practice facilities, tennis and bocce courts, state of the art Wellness Center, and diverse indoor/outdoor dining venues, including a private Wine Room, multiple event spaces, and Marketplace. In addition to the Club’s amenities, all Members have access to the Windstar Community private Keewaydin Island beach accessible via a 40-passenger pontoon shuttle adds to the club’s distinctive coastal charm. Members enjoy a vibrant, casual-by-design lifestyle with exceptional dining, social events, and activities that celebrate Naples’ coastal spirit. Annual Food & Beverage revenues exceed $2.4 million, generated from à la carte dining, a robust calendar of Social events, Member private events, and Member-sponsored events.


FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER POSITION OVERVIEW

The Food & Beverage Manager is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role that provides daily oversight of the Club’s dining and beverage operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for Members and their guests. This role provides hands-on leadership by managing and developing the food and beverage team, overseeing service standards, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost controls. This dynamic leader will lead the beverage program including monthly inventory, weekly purchasing of liquor, beer, and wine, crafting cocktail menus and wine selections, with emphasis on enhancing the Wine Club program. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership

  • Lead, train, and schedule the front-of-house team including servers, server assistants, bartenders, hosts, and Marketplace attendants.
  • Manage reservations, seating charts, and daily dining floor plans. 
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of all dining venues and events, with a strong visible presence on the floor during service.
  • Greet and seat members and guests; build strong member relationships. 
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings with team to review daily events and features, while reinforcing standards and expectations.
  • Monitor payroll through labor controls and scheduling to ensure alignment with forecasts, productivity goals, and service standards. 
  • Ensure proper staff uniforms, side work, cleanliness, and dining room setup. 
  • Oversee meeting and event room setups, including floor plans, tables, linens, equipment, and buffets. 
  • Support the execution of Club events with the Catering & Events Manager to ensure they are well coordinated, and memorable. 
  • Maintain Jonas POS and programming of food and beverage sale items.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, liquor service, and regulatory requirements, while staying current with industry trends and best practices. 

Beverage Program

  • Manage all ordering of wines, spirits, mixers, and bar-related supplies for the Club.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, manage pricing, and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels, implement effective cost-control measures, and ensure timely and accurate ordering to meet demand.
  • Execute monthly inventory. 
  • Design and deliver ongoing beverage education for bar and service staff to support knowledge and enhance the member experience.
  • Oversee daily bar operations across all outlets, ensuring consistent service and Member satisfaction.
  • Support private events with customized beverage selections and professional execution.
  • Partner with the Food & Beverage leadership and culinary teams to align beverage offerings with Club events and dining initiatives. 
  • Lead and elevate the Club’s beverage program — curating lists, guiding selections, and educating the team. Continuously elevate the Wine Club program through thoughtful wine programming, Member & staff education, wine dinners, tastings, and curated wine experiences. 


Requirements:

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive Food and Beverage management experience within a private Club, resort, or fine dining environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • In depth knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and industry best practices in beverage service.
  • Beverage/Sommelier certifications preferred or an individual with demonstrated wine knowledge and beverage expertise.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
  • ServSafe Food Manager and Alcohol Certified.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Jonas POS preferred.
  • Private Club experience preferred.
