As a Dermatology Physician Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough health assessments by employing advanced practice knowledge and skills to evaluate dermatological patient data.
• Prescribing and administering medications as authorized by supervising physicians, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Ordering, interpreting, and following up on diagnostic tests, utilizing results to refine treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
• Communicating effectively with patients and their families, breaking down any barriers to understanding, and providing clear instructions regarding care and treatment options.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) issued by the Texas Medical Board or equivalent regulatory body.
• Demonstrated clinical experience of at least one year in a dermatological setting, showcasing a solid understanding of dermatological care practices.

• Experience with a diverse patient population, particularly in a community health setting, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently manage patient data and facilitate streamlined communication within the healthcare team.
