This job is HYBRID after successful completion of the 6 month orientation period.

Shift: Shift 1

Job Summary:

Coordinates the intake, triage and disposition of the care needs of patients in a complex, multidisciplinary clinic and/or ancillary setting. May be responsible for management of the program outcomes database (department specific). Duties include a high degree of patient interaction (via phone), faculty and referring physician interaction, utilization of patient information, coordination of insurance documentation, creation of patient medical records, maintenance of program schedules and triage of a high volume of incoming telephone calls.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or health care setting is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Associate Degree is required. In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in intake, triage and referral facilitation is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Must have excellent computers skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Access Data Base skills, medical terminology, typing and office equipment is required. Excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills necessary. Must have excellent communication skills. Understanding of health care facilities and processes. Scheduling background in a healthcare setting.
