Location: Greater Indianapolis

Position Overview

A growing field service and facility solutions company is seeking a skilled and dependable Gate & Access Control Technician to join its operations team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience in access control systems, automatic gates, low-voltage systems, or commercial maintenance.

The technician will work directly at commercial and self-storage facilities, performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated entry and security systems. The position requires strong technical aptitude, independent field work capability, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automatic gate systems and access control equipment
  • Install, replace, and maintain keypads, sensors, controllers, and related hardware

  • Work with low-voltage wiring and electrical components
  • Service camera systems, DVRs, and surveillance-related equipment
