As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badges and access permissions, respond to alarms, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry, issuing access badges as authorized, and directing personnel and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, access events, deliveries, and unusual conditions in accordance with site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, warehouse areas, loading docks, business operations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
