We are seeking an Cybersecurity Cloud Automation Engineer who will Cyber Security Operations development in the areas of Threat Hunt Analytics, Malicious Detections, and Workbook development. You will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Also, to build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. This role is fully onsite in Lorton, VA.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and assist with Azure resource deployments using IaC and CaC
  • Developing, deploying and using Threat Hunt Analytics, Malicious Detection, Workbooks and other Incident Response tools
  • Assist with automated deployments of mission-critical security software and applications
  • Assist with the development of data ingestion and visualization solutions
  • Engage with customers for requirements gathering and solution development activities
  • Improve processes across the enterprise by introducing automation and industry best practices
  • Documentation of lessons learned and best practices

Required Skills
  • 4+ years of IT Administration, Engineering, or Automation experience (including 3+ years of Cloud experience)
  • 1+ year experience with programming languages or PowerShell
  • 1+ year experience with manually or programmatically accessing REST API endpoints
  • Satisfaction of 8570 IAT II requirements (typically CompTIA Security+)

Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Azure experience
  • Working knowledge of multiple SIEMs including Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel/Log Analytics
  • Leadership experience in relevant technical areas
  • Technical Certifications, such as: Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-600 or AZ-700
  • Travel requirements: Up to 25% (CONUS).

Security Clearance:
  • Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Must have a valid US passport

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
