Job description

Academic Interventional Cardiology – Full Time

University Health Physicians (UHP), an academic group practice affiliated with the University of Missouri‑Kansas City School of Medicine and Truman Medical Centers/University Health, seeks a staff faculty member for an Interventional Cardiology role.

The role requires clinical, academic, and personal skills to contribute to an active academic section. This is a full‑time position.

Practice Highlights
  • Team of 5 Cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists, and 6 advanced practice registered nurses.
  • Mix of general and interventional Cardiology, including cardiac catheterization and PCI; no structural cases.
  • Clinical responsibilities include inpatient rounding at University Health Truman Medical Center and outpatient consultative work at two practice sites.
  • Fully equipped cath lab with a second lab planned to open in 2026.
  • Fully wired with CERNER/ORACLE – Power Chart.
Compensation

Salary commensurate with background and academic rank.
