An independent school for girls in grades 6-12, guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located in the welcoming community of Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School attracts a talented and growing student population from over 50 towns and communities. The students and their families as well as the faculty and staff are noted for their commitment to the schoolsmission educating young women who are called to greatness.


Montrose School is seeking a high-level, detail-oriented Academic Coordinator. This full-time, 11-month position provides critical administrative and operational support to the Academic Office, the Assistant Head of School, and ancillary departments that intersect with the school's academic and co-curricular programs.


The Academic Coordinator ensures the efficient operational flow of the division, coordinating vital faculty-related processes related to professional development, faculty hiring, and varying administrative logistics related to daily operations. A compelling candidate will have agility responding to shifting priorities while remaining reliable and efficient, have exceptional verbal and written communication ability with keen organizational skills, can easily work with various constituencies across the organization, while maintaining intellectual curiosity, and demonstrated comfort with technology. Strong applicants will have at least 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school setting, and a bachelors degree.
