Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing processes and changes that result in creating a quality conscious environment which shows a reduction of defects.ย  Subject matter expert in the area of quality assurance.ย  May lead and direct other team members toward achieving a quality focused environment.

ย JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Works from blueprints, interprets engineering requirements and Configuration verifications.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Knowledgeable of specification, Quality procedures and F/T requirements appropriate to the area of assignment.ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Inspects parts and ensures acceptable appearance, function, tolerances, dimensions and specifications.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Completes and maintains a variety of inspection paperwork.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Able to interpret and conform new model engineering change with feedback to Engineering.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Proficient in business applications as required for the area of work assigned.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Communicates with the FAA or other external auditors and customers.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Possess certification/qualifications appropriate to assigned area.

EDUCATION:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and the use of drawings, specifications, basic math and technical knowledge.

EXPERIENCE:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  0-6 months quality, inspecting, or technical maintenance experience required. Possesses a solid grasp of the technical skills necessary to perform the job and be willing to work in all areas of support.
