MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This role is responsible for leading sales force effectiveness and developing high-impact, scalable sales training programs across the Endovascular, Coronary, and Vessel Closure franchises within the Vascular US Commercial organization. The Director will design and execute training strategies that equip the sales organization with the product, clinical, competitive, and consultative selling skills required to drive customer adoption, grow revenue, win market share, and achieve margin goals. By partnering closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Commercial Operations, this role will ensure training programs accelerate field readiness, strengthen sales execution, and improve overall commercial performance. This is an impactful, dynamic, and highly visible position that will materially influence business results across the Vascular portfolio. The position reports to the Senior Director, Commercial Operations

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead the creation and implementation of value-based sales training programs to support commercial readiness for product launches

Convert business and organizational objectives into scalable training programs for all levels of the sales organization including new hire and leader/manager training to accelerate time to revenue-generation

Establish and promote best-in-class techniques to deliver training programs that are engaging, actionable, sticky, scalable, and results driven

Team player than can partner closely with Sales leaders to ensure buy-in and input into all curriculum, including identification of candidates for selective training programs

Select and assess external vendors who can assist with deploying high quality programs and interactive online/ virtual tools and methods

Collaborate with Marketing and Education to ensure integration with product / technical training

Collaborate with customers to ensure training reflects customer expectations and involve them where appropriate

Align with HR to evaluate competency levels and create training strategy to address critical gaps

Develop key performance indicators for sales training programs, track effectiveness, and demonstrate strong financial ROI

Present program strategy, metrics, and impact to executive leadership

Provide insights and recommendations to drive strategic decisions and investments in sales training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

10+ years of healthcare industry experience

8+ years leading and executing Sales Training programs in medical devices

5+ years as a high-performing sales representative or sales manager in medical devices

Ability to travel approximately 25-50% within the U.S.

The base pay for this position is

$149,300.00 - $298,700.00
