This Position reports to:
Segment Manager - Paint Process Application Manager
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements/budget in order to achieve both market competitiveness and the expected margin level for the Company.
Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers that are present in the area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations with the best product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations, ensuring timely, detailed proposals that include full and accurate costs.

This role is contributing to the Paint/Sealer Automotive Business group in US
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Calculating a budget value for the sales team or customer to evaluate customer willingness to invest using appropriate level of details.
  • Managing the preparation of all technical and commercial documentation (e.g. defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)), financial (e.g. total price sheet, cash flow analysis), indicating prices and trading conditions.
  • Collaborates with sales teams and engages with customers when required.
  • Collaborating with engineering operations teams during bid estimation.
  • Ensuring that, in accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, inputs for editing activities are provided on time and follow established quality procedures.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • A minimum of 12+ years of Paint/Sealer Proposal, System Engineering experience.
  • BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Must be able to travel 50% - mainly domestically.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of:

Paint and Sealer processes
Paint and Sealer application equipment
Paint and Sealer materials
Paint and Sealer robots
Control systems (PLC and HMI/SCADA)
AutoCAD
EPLAN
Field experience (Installation/Commissioning)
