This Position reports to:
Engineering Manager
Acts as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments classified as high engineering complexity. Ensures that the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Robotics, Industries BL Electronics in Auburn Hills, MI US.
Key Responsibilities
  • Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
  • Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.
  • Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
  • Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Robotics or Mechatronics.
  • 8+ years of experience in robot programming and/or project engineering.
  • You enjoy working with Robotics and Automation in the Electronics market.
  • You possess an enhanced knowledge of ABB RobotStudio, ABB RAPID, commissioning, troubleshooting, and debug.
  • You are passionate about global collaboration, teamwork, and the complete lifecycle of systems.
