Licensed Insurance Agent (Sales & Service)

Waterford, MI | Monday-Friday | No Nights | No Weekends

Looking for a better place to build your career?

We're a locally owned, Premier Performing AAA Insurance agency that's growing, and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a team that actually likes coming to work.

This isn't a call center.

This isn't a high-pressure sales environment.

And this definitely isn't a place where you'll be micromanaged.

We believe great people don't need someone looking over their shoulder—they need the right training, support, and the freedom to do what they do best.

If you're looking for a long-term career with a team that values trust, accountability, and treating people the right way, keep reading.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is a little different, but your responsibilities will include:

Building lasting relationships with clients

Helping customers understand their insurance options and make confident decisions

Quoting and selling Auto, Home, Condo, Renters, Umbrella, and Life Insurance

Reviewing coverage to identify gaps and better protect families

Handling policy changes, billing questions, and customer service

Following up on leads, referrals, and renewal opportunities

Delivering the kind of service that keeps clients coming back and referring their friends and family

Who Thrives Here

You'll probably be a great fit if you:

Enjoy talking to people.

Like solving problems instead of creating them.

Are coachable and open to feedback.

Take ownership without needing to be managed every minute.

Stay calm when things get busy.

Want to grow your income by taking great care of clients.

Believe that providing great customer service matters.

This Probably Isn't the Right Fit If...

You don't enjoy working with people.

You struggle accepting coaching or feedback.

You bring drama instead of solutions.

You need someone constantly checking on your work.

You're only looking for "just a job."

We're building a team people enjoy being part of and protecting that culture is very important to us.

Preferred Qualifications

Active Michigan Property & Casualty License

Insurance and/or sales experience

Life & Health License (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Customer service experience

Compensation & Benefits

$45,000-$75,000+ (Base salary + uncapped commissions + bonuses)

$2,000 Signing bonus available for qualified candidates with current AAA or Meemic experience

Health, Dental & Vision Insurance

SIMPLE IRA with company match

Paid Holidays & PTO

Ongoing training and professional development

Monday-Friday schedule (9:00 AM-5:00 PM)

Office closed daily from 1:00-2:00 PM for lunch

No nights. No weekends.

Why People Stay Here

We work hard as a team, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We celebrate wins, help each other when things get busy, and believe work should be a place you actually enjoy coming to. We believe great culture doesn't happen by accident; it happens because everyone on the team contributes to it.

If you're looking for a place where you'll be appreciated, challenged, and rewarded for doing great work, we'd love to meet you.

Apply today—we're excited to find the next great addition to our team.
