Job description

Everforth ECS is seeking an AWS GovCloud Lead to support our Customer at Quantico, VA. The selected candidate will administer and maintain the Manpower Information Portal (MIP) and Manpower Cloud Services (MCS) within AWS GovCloud.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain cloud-native applications in AWS GovCloud
  • Implement and manage AWS serverless computing services including Lambda, Fargate, and Amazon API Gateway
  • Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity strategies, including backups, cross-region replication, and failover processes
  • Provide ongoing cost analysis and recommendations for optimizing AWS GovCloud usage
  • Support the MIP's Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
  • Provide Configuration Management (CM) subject matter expertise
  • Manage cloud environment exclusively using Government-authorized equipment
  • Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-207 Zero Trust architecture standards
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud administration and cloud-native development.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Required by the PWS)
  • AWS Certified Development Operations Professional (Required by the PWS)
  • AWS Certified System Administrator (Required by the PWS)
  • AWS Certified Developer (Required by the PWS)
  • Tier 3 Security Clearance (Required by the PWS)
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8140 certification
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance

Salary: $140,000 - $170,000
