This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit; you will be responsible for the security and integrity of our systems that keep our jets flying. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services

As critical members of the F35 Operations Team, all ALIS administrators must be able to: Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access This is an operational support role to active fighter units. Administrators must be willing and able to travel for military deployments/detachments for extended periods of time dependent upon operational needs. Capable of working various shift hours to include weekends to support customer mission requirements.

Candidates offered a position may be required to complete a pre-employment medical exam that is designed to ensure capability to deploy with our military customer, which may be to austere environments with limited access to medical care. A Day in the Life: As an ALIS Administrator with our F-35 ALIS team partnering with our customer, you will wear many hats; system admin duties, data management duties, network admin duties and mission planning admin duties. ALIS Administrators are generally the first point of contact for customer inquiries, field any questions and/or concern and troubleshoot any reported problems.

You will be assigned tasks in most ALIS administrative roles to further develop your skills and increase capabilities within the ALIS administrator role. * Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Interacting daily with users providing assistance on the ALIS product suite Perform COMSEC duties and adhere to requirements; learn CRO duties Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and identify/resolve system shortfalls Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) installation and data updates Support, administer, and monitor associated hardware/software and pilot accounts Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier2 and engineers Training ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipment Reviewing processes/procedures, collect system operational data for analysis Coordinating extranet equipment installations with enterprise and local communications facilities Basic Qualifications Candidates must have a Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire IT experience of any combination in Mission Planning/system/network administration COMSEC experience Desired Skills Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) experience Mission Planning Systems Support Representatives (SSR) experience Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS) experience Military Flight Operations & Planning Processes Account Maintenance using Active Directory Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines and network equipment Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VmWare) Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS hardware and software Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
