Job description

A1 Mechanical is a Residential New Construction Heating & Cooling company located in Columbus, Ohio, with sister companies in Cincinnati, Dayton, Lansing, Indianapolis, Louisville, Baltimore & Grand Rapids. Primarily operating in a new construction setting, our Service Technicians get exposure to everything from setting outdoor units on new builds to running service calls to diagnose and fix units on existing homes. We surround our employees with industry-leading experience and provide incredible training to ensure a fast track to a great career. Our ideal candidate is someone who is knowledgeable running service and can help develop additional service technicians/finish installers. There will be an opportunity to earn a the Manager position for someone who can demonstrate the ability and willingness to lead.

Responsibilities:

As a HVAC Technician, you will provide exceptional professionalism while performing the task listed below:

  • Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation products
  • Commission systems and test to ensure proper function
  • Perform start-ups as needed
  • Install registers, grills, and other products
  • Run service calls and assist in retrofit installations
  • Clearly communicate with management

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen and driving record check
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to complete further training to keep skills sharp
  • Valid Driver License with good driving record
  • EPA Certification
  • At least (3) year experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a residential new constriction setting
