Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will be based onsite, working in a dynamic outpatient clinic environment Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. As part of your day-to-day activities, you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a reasonable patient caseload, ensuring each client receives ample time and attention for their healing journey.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing your clinical expertise to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Focus on non-surgical treatment plans to reduce dependency on pain medications, fostering a holistic approach to recovery.
  • Design and execute comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of treatment techniques based on patient-specific needs.
  • Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs, adapting exercises to meet the unique requirements of each patient.
  • Offer evidence-based interventions that are proven to deliver effective and personalized rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will provide care focused on enhancing mobility, addressing functional limitations and empowering patients to regain their independence.

Qualifications
  • A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
  • Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Possess a clear license with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities.
  • A proven talent for creating and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, for accurate documentation.
  • Committed to staying current with the latest research-supported physical therapy techniques.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is required.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
