Overview

The Restoration General Manager reports to the District Director and is accountable for providing excellent service to disaster victims and restoring property and lives with a servant’s heart. The role is primarily responsible for managing daily office operations and may serve as Estimator and/or Project Manager for large claims as needed. The Restoration General Manager embodies Jenkins Restorations core values: Can‑do Attitude, Excellent Execution, Do the Right Thing, Actions of a Servant, and Responsible Stewardship (C.E.D.A.R).

ResponsibilitiesOffice Strategy & Budgeting
  • Develop and implement office strategy with management team
  • Manage budget
  • Review profit margins and address concerns as they arise
  • Review and monitor cash collections monthly
Staffing & Facilities
  • Conduct annual performance reviews
  • Address staffing issues as needed
  • Submit payroll review and submission
  • Forecast staffing needs
  • Ensure facility maintenance
Claims Oversight
  • Allocate efforts to ESC or small claims as needed
  • Serve as estimator for large losses as needed
  • Serve as project manager for large losses as needed
  • Handle warranty complaints
  • Communicate program changes to entire claims management team
  • Monitor and develop program/client relationships with insurance companies
  • Field sales and other inquiry phone calls as needed
  • Coordinate attorney engagements on collections and legal matters
  • Approve and submit invoicing
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university with strong academic achievement.
  • Experience: 1–2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read/interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively in English to customers and employees.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of industry-related software, proficiency in touch typing, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and other relevant applications.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems, interpret written instructions, and handle diverse real‑life situations.
Physical Requirements

Employee must regularly sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, occasionally stand and walk, and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Employee is exposed to outside weather, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, wet/humid conditions, fumes, chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, and moderate noise. Appropriate safety equipment is furnished.
