Job Summary

The Informatics role is responsible for supporting and enhancing the team's reporting, data integration, and application processes. This position investigates and resolves issues across reporting and data workflows, supports deployments aligned to team standards, develops and maintains SSIS packages, and updates team-developed applications to meet evolving process and business requirements. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, hands-on development capability, and the ability to work across technical and business teams to support reliable, accurate, and efficient operations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, SSIS packages, scheduled jobs, and related data processes
  • Deploy SSRS reports and Power BI reports in alignment with team standards and established deployment practices
  • Use automated processes to deploy stored procedures to team databases
  • Develop, maintain, and support SSIS packages that extract data from production databases, prepare files for SFTP to external locations, and load vendor data into team databases
  • Support scheduled jobs and enterprise scheduling processes, including issue identification and resolution
  • Update and maintain team-developed applications as needed to support team processes and requirements
  • Partner with technical and business teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and support solution delivery
  • Support ongoing reporting, database, and application reliability across the team's environment
  • Contribute to documentation, standards, and process consistency across reporting and deployment activities
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in application support, database support, informatics, or a related technical role
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Hands‑on experience with SSIS package development, support, and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting and deploying SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards
  • Experience using Visual Studio for development and maintenance activities
  • Experience with GitHub or similar source control tools
  • Experience with enterprise scheduling tools, scheduled jobs, and job failure troubleshooting
  • Programming experience with VB.NET and C#
  • Experience developing or supporting automated deployment processes for database objects such as stored procedures
  • Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data between production systems, vendor files, and internal databases
  • Experience supporting secure file transfer processes such as SFTP
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment
  • Experience supporting production reporting and data integration processes
  • Experience with deployment standards, documentation, and quality controls
  • Experience supporting internally developed team applications

Education

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
