Baptist Health is looking for an AI Manager to join our team!

This will be a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.

The AI Manager will play a hands-on, operational leadership role in advancing the organization's applied artificial intelligence strategy across clinical, operational, and administrative domains. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of AI initiatives, supporting the full AI algorithm lifecycle-from intake and evaluation through deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

The AI Manager will work closely with clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, IT, Informatics, Legal, Risk, and external AI vendors to ensure AI tools are safe, effective, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. This position reports to the AVP of Digital Health and AI and serves as a key connector between strategy and execution.

This role is central to ensuring that AI delivers real, measurable value while maintaining trust, safety, and operational excellence. The AI Manager helps turn promising technology into reliable, scalable capabilities that improve patient care, clinician experience, and organizational performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, Engineering, Informatics, Healthcare or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of relevant and related experience
  • Experience working with EHR integrated AI tools or clinical decision support systems
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, model risk management, or algorithm oversight processes
  • Experience collaborating with AI vendors, startups, or health technology partners
  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy, security and regulatory considerations related to AI
  • PMP, Lean, Six Sigma or similar project management training
