LabAnswer has architected, implemented, deployed and/or supported hundreds of major scientific informatics systems across more than a thousand laboratories. LabAnswer performs significant laboratory automation work in pharmaceuticals, bio-pharmaceuticals, medical devices, forensics, and life sciences research laboratories spanning research, development and manufacturing/QC operations.

Job Description

This is a great entry level opportunity for the right person. The Informatics Associate position requires a willingness to learn and the desire to exceed expectations. Ideal candidates are extremely detail-oriented and analytically-minded individuals, with ability to cross-analyze data and functionality between an application UI and its underlying datasource.

We are seeking qualified candidates with Bachelor's degrees in Laboratory or Computer Sciences. Example degree programs are Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology and similar programs.

Applicants with a background in laboratories should have a strong understanding of laboratory workflows and practices and have an aptitude for programming and software.

Those with a background in computers should have strong programming capabilities and an interest in learning more about the scientific aspects of our business.

Qualifications

Experience writing SQL Statements

A Strong Work Ethic

Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Programming Experience with C# Jscript, VB, C, C#, PASCAL or other Programming languages
