Job description

Patient Care Assistant, Intermediate Care Unit

As a Patient Care Assistant, Intermediate Care Unit, you'll be responsible for assisting in the total nursing care for all patients utilizing standards of care.

***$1,500 SIGN-ON/RETENTION BONUS AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES***

Shift: You'll work 3 12 hour shifts per week that rotate 6am to 6:30pm/6pm to 6:30am, every other weekend & every other holiday

Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in a health assistant program at a vocational school
  • Must have patient care experience or completion of one semester in a healthcare related field
  • Must have current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Must have Comprehensive Crisis Management certification or be obtained within 12 months of hire
  • Must complete Basic Arrhythmia course within 12 months of hire
