What we do:

Mr. Restorations goal is to impact people in a positive way. We provide our customers with peace of mind and the foundation to rebuild their dreams. Mr. Restoration supports clients who are going through disasters to ensure that they are back to their routine, faster and better than before. Our services include water damage, mold, fire, and disaster restoration.


Restoration Technician Summary:
Our field technicians provide clients with advice regarding water, fire, smoke, mold damage in a variety of settings including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. An ideal candidate should be an individual who is self-motivated, this “hands-on” position requires strong analytical and communication skills to identify a potential issue and convey the said issue to a client with remedial solutions when necessary. Through on-the-job training and certification courses, field technicians gain knowledge regarding state and federal regulations and in turn conduct surveys and produce reports as a knowledgeable party. As knowledge and experience increase, additional certifications may become available.


Restoration Technician Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, as well as in harsh indoor conditions such as fire-damaged or condemned structures with low-light and/or exposure to airborne particles
  • Must be able to be on call for emergency services
  • Thorough and attentive to detail; proactive with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with coworkers, customers, and subcontractors
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Prior experience working in the water damage industry or closely-related experience preferred. We will train the right person.
  • IICRC certifications are a plus
  • Must have a valid drivers license

Restoration Technician Responsibilities:

  • Set up, monitor, and move equipment needed for water extraction and drying of premises
  • Removal of water and mold damaged building materials
  • Treatment and removal of mold growth
  • Document moisture meter readings
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.
