IR RN - Interventional Radiology Registered NurseSchedule Details
  • 4x10.0 hour shifts
  • D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule
  • Floating required
  • Holidays and weekends
  • On call/callback responsibilities
  • Charge per unit needs
Position Overview
  • Fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center
  • Care for inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Responsible for pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recovery and overnight observation care
  • Experience with GI post procedural care is preferred but not required
Department Focus
  • High energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging
  • Specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI's, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound
  • Good communication skills and ability to critically think are essential
  • Team oriented, enthusiastic, flexible and organized candidates preferred
  • Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • RN responsible for pre/post and 23hr care for IR patients
  • Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure
