Job Description

BME Fire Trucks is seeking an Electrical Assembler to support our Electrical Team. We are a locally owned Fire Truck manufacturer in Boise, Idaho. BME manufactures wildland fire apparatus used in the US and Canada for wildland fire suppression. Be a part of something that makes a difference in saving lives, homes, and our amazing recreational areas. As an electrical assembler your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and fabricating equipment brackets and wire harnesses
  • Emergency console buildouts
  • Installation of Emergency lighting packages
  • Multi-plex systems
  • OEM Interface and programming
  • Install and connect various electric wiring systems.
  • Install rough electric conduct and boxes according to blueprints.
  • Pull wires and harnesses through chassis or body.
Requirements:

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Understanding of electrical principles
  • Understanding of electrical circuits
  • 12-volt experience
  • Able to work cooperatively with others as a team and with people of diverse backgrounds

This is a full-time permanent position located on site in Boise, Idaho. Occasional overtime may be required. We are a growing company with opportunities for advancement. We offer excellent compensation and full benefits including health, dental, vision and 401k.
