What is a 3rd shift remote SpaceX job?

3rd Shift Remote SpaceX jobs are positions at SpaceX that require employees to work during the third shift, typically overnight hours, and allow them to work remotely from a location outside of a SpaceX facility. These roles may include responsibilities in areas such as mission operations, engineering support, or monitoring systems that need continuous oversight. Working the third shift often involves unique challenges, such as adjusting to a nocturnal schedule and collaborating with team members across different time zones. SpaceX offers such opportunities to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical operations and missions.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a 3rd shift remote SpaceX employee?

To thrive as a 3rd Shift Remote SpaceX employee, you generally need a background in engineering, IT, or operations, along with relevant experience or education in aerospace or technical fields. Familiarity with proprietary SpaceX systems, remote monitoring tools, and standard communication platforms is typically required. Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication skills help you excel when working independently during off-hours. These abilities ensure smooth mission operations, quick response to issues, and effective collaboration across different shifts and teams.

Description
Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest 100% physician-owned and managed practices in the country. Our team includes 175 radiologists, 30 advanced practice providers, and 165 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. We are committed to remaining independent and providing the highest level of care to our patients. We value diversity on our team and promote a culture of inclusion.
What we do: We provide services to 5 health care systems and more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. ARS is the exclusive radiology provider to Michigan's largest health care system - Corewell Health. Corewell Helen DeVos Children's Hospital (HDVCH) is a free standing, 241-bed hospital that opened in 2011 and employs nearly 200 physicians in more than 50 pediatric specialties and programs. HDVCH has been nationally ranked for 14 years and is one of the nation's largest neonatal centers with more than 1,200 babies admitted each year.
What we are looking for: We are seeking a fellowship trained Pediatric Radiologist to join our team of 12 pediatric radiologists and work remotely to cover third shift. The schedule would be 10 pm to 7 am EST working 7 on and 14 off. This is ideal for someone living in the Pacific Time zone or Hawaii. This is a partnership track position with full compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Cover all modalities and service lines, including pediatric neuroradiology
• Read young adult ER/radiographs when all pediatric imaging studies have been interpreted
Why do you want to do telerad for us?
Although we are based in Michigan, we have a well-established teleradiology practice. We had remote physicians prior to COVID and currently have physicians working in 18 states. We utilize Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe 360 and Clario; we have outstanding IT infrastructure and 24/7 help desk support. Our remote radiologists are encouraged to participate in virtual section, committee and board meetings and their input is essential to our practice decisions. You will have outstanding colleagues working virtually by your side as we have dedicated body, cardiac, ER, neuro, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and ultrasound readers on first and second shifts and body, ER, neuro, and pediatric readers on third shift.
Compensation/Benefits: We offer a significant recruitment incentive (sign on bonus), competitive compensation plan, stipends for on-site shifts, and opportunities for additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay $0 for single or family medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($72,000 in 2026). We offer a 6-week paid parental leave benefit to use in conjunction with 12 weeks of FMLA.
Requirements
  • Certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Completion of a pediatric radiology fellowship with certificate of additional certification or equivalent experience
  • Facility with all pediatric modalities and organ systems
