Machine Operators Needed in Grand Rapids on 3rd Shift!

Arrow Staffing is currently hiring machine operators for a foam manufacturer by the Grand Rapids airport. This team member will assist with accurately and safely operating the required equipment and performing duties necessary to ensure the manufacturing of quality foam products for the automotive, medical, and aerospace industries.

This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity with weekly pay!

Schedule:

3rd Shift Sunday to Wednesday 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM

OT schedule: Thursday 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Starting Pay:

3rd Shift - $18.00 per hour

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to set up and run machinery

Blueprint reading

Intermediate math, measurement, and standard metric skills

Basic computer skills

Ability to have great attendance

Ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently, and up to 40 lbs occasionally

Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours

Ability to use hands to touch, utilize, and handle materials, parts, and equipment

Comfortable working in a loud manufacturing environment

Job Duties:

Perform production operations including, but not limited to, machining operations using:

Heat guns, press, saws, hot wire equipment, ovens and water jets

Laminating and routing equipment

Machine set up, die changes, and tooling changes as needed

Complete and understand required production documents including but not limited to, production orders to ensure products match customer requirements

Monitor machinery and inspect parts visually to ensure quality requirements are achieved

Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisor

Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

Comply with all safety procedures including, but not limited to, proper lifting mechanics, lock out-tag out, forklift operation, and use of protective equipment.
