ECHO Incorporated is looking for a Machine Operator to join our growing team. We are seeking a Machine Operator who will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion machinery used in the production of trimmer line. This role includes changing and weighing spools, checking machine operations, and packaging finished products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm Wage is $16.25/hour.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Change out spools of trimmer line during production runs
  • Weigh completed spools to ensure accuracy and quality standards
  • Check and monitor machine operation, including readings and material flow
  • Identify and report any irregularities or issues in machine performance
  • Package trimmer line spools according to company specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow
  • Provide support to other departments to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in extrusion or manufacturing is a plus but not required. 
  • Ability to lift and handle materials and spools weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
