Job description

Job Title: Production – Machining (3rd Shift)
Job Category: Light Industrial
Shift: 3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am
Pay: $18/hr +$1 shift differential
Job Summary
The Production – Machining role is responsible for operating machining equipment while following standard work instructions and safe work practices. This position supports efficient production processes and ensures quality standards are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions
  • Perform tool changes and conduct leak testing as required
  • Operate machining equipment including Chiron drills, Okuma lathes, and forklifts
  • Conduct hardness testing on parts
  • Re-balance, inspect, and palletize finished parts
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality and specification compliance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
Equipment and Hand Tools Used
  • Allen wrenches
  • Files and die grinders
  • Deburring knives
  • General shop and hand tools
Education and Aptitudes
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours per shift
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively
  • Strong motor coordination and eye-hand-foot coordination
  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • Willingness to work off-shifts and overtime as needed
