As an Advanced Machine Operator, you will start up machines, change the tooling of the machines to run different products, complete intermediate troubleshooting and maintenance tasks when issues arise, be alert to product quality and follow all control plans accordingly, and train others.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace.
  • Maintains established 6S standards for the work area.
  • Responsible for completing control plan inspections.
  • Loads, unloads, sorts, and inspects proper parts and assemblies according to the Control Plans and ensures accurate assembly.
  • Maintains ownership of Quality Sorts and stops the process, and handles non-conforming products on their shifts.
  • Completes line set-ups, start-up, and changeover activities.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance activities.
  • Completes advanced tooling changes.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, negative, and positive numbers.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
  • Use of the metric system. Ability to solve practical problems and apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written and oral form.
  • A minimum of three years of consecutive work experience in a Production and/or Manufacturing environment is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members and other employees of the organization.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should know SAP Integrated Business software and work order software.
  • Use a computer with the Windows operating system and the Microsoft Office Suite software.
