Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Forest Park, GA

Shift: 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am Sunday - Friday

Job Summary:
  • The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role supports production by responding to breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and completing mechanical and electrical repairs across the facility.

Job Duties:
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures on the production floor
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing maintenance
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks thoroughly and safely
  • Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for work orders
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to share knowledge and drive improvements
  • Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work in environments with temperature variations and exposure to manufacturing materials
  • Frequently stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, conveyors, hydraulics, HVAC, PLCs, refrigeration, motors, and gearboxes
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including basic electrical circuits
  • Technical certification preferred
  • Must provide personal hand tools
