The Extrusion Operator is responsible for efficiently operating extrusion machinery in a manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality and safety compliance. This role involves operating, material handling, and troubleshooting within a multiple-shift operation, with reporting directly to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Set up extrusion machines according to production specifications
  • Load materials and monitor extrusion process
  • Inspect product quality and ensure compliance with standards
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with equipment
  • Clean and maintain extrusion machinery and workspace
