Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Under direct supervision, you will be responsible for operating automated manufacturing equipment for our manufactured assemblies. This role involves routine equipment setup, operation, and adjustment to ensure efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with team members to set up machines according to setup sheets.
- Ensure board loader and feeders are continually loaded with the correct parts.
- Prepare for the next part run by loading feeders in advance.
- Maintain and load solder screen printers and operate LSM machines to check solder paste application.
- Enter data into the CIQ system for process tracking.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area by tubing fallout parts and cleaning machines as needed.
- Monitor machine rejects to ensure parts are sorted and run daily.
- Maintain necessary documentation for production processes.
- Perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions.
- Ensure the assigned area is clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations.
- Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months to one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications.
- Machine setup, operation, and adjustment skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and minor equipment repair capabilities.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.

- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
- Preventive maintenance knowledge.
- Quality inspections and defect detection skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards and procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience.
- Technical certification or vocational training.
- Experience training or mentoring other operators.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.

Work Environment
The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. You will need to perform repetitive tasks and have the flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $14.85 - $26.73/hr.
