Material Handler

Reports to 3rd Shift AC Trainee

Shift: 3rd, 10pm-6:30am

Position Summary: Material Handler is responsible for the handling and placement of materials needed within each department of the home building facility.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Drive Forklift Provide Materials to plant

Receive material that are delivered from vendors

Put materials in respective areas

Checks off deliveries by company material to packing slips

Responsible for getting materials to respective Departments in a timely manner

Rotate materials by date and delivery

Check quality and state of material that is being received

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Previous construction or warehouse experience preferred

Attention to detail and good communication skills

Ability to work well within a team

Experience operating a forklift or forklift certification preferred, training available
