3rd Shift Artisan Bread Baker
Full Time
Are you passionate about baking? At Dorothy Lane Market, our artisan breads are truly something special, baked from scratch using old-world methods, natural fermentation, and time-honored techniques. Our Artisan Bread bakers use knowledge, senses, and instincts to craft each exquisite product. Whether you are a seasoned professional or someone looking to sharpen your culinary skills, this exciting department will provide lots of opportunity to flourish.
The Artisan Bread Baker is responsible for baking of artisan pan breads, rolls, bagels, hearth breads, as well as sorting finished product for delivery to all three DLM stores. This is a highly skilled position, and we are willing to train the right person. Shifts begin at 4:00 p.m. and run for 10 hours with three nights off. Punctuality and reliability are a must for this position.

Qualifications:
  • A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service.
  • Food safety expertise.
  • A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
  • A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working
  • Punctuality is a must.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • 18 years or older is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Must have holiday and weekend availability.
